A234 WP11 Alloy Steel Cap is a chromium-molybdenum butt-weld pipe fitting manufactured to ASTM A234 / ASME SA234, used to seal the end of a piping system or pressure vessel. Hongcheng manufactures and supplies WP11 alloy steel caps for refinery process piping, power generation, hydrogenation units and other high-temperature industrial piping applications.
ASTM A234 WP11 is the wrought alloy steel fitting grade associated with the P11 alloy system. ASTM A335 P11 applies to seamless ferritic alloy-steel pipe, while ASTM A234 WP11 applies to wrought butt-welding fittings. These grades are commonly specified together in high-temperature piping systems, while each product form is controlled by its respective ASTM / ASME material specification.

• A234 WP5 Alloy Steel Cap – 5Cr-0.5Mo alloy steel grade for high-temperature refinery and petrochemical service.
• A234 WP91 Alloy Steel Cap – 9Cr-1Mo-V-Nb alloy steel grade for high-temperature and high-pressure steam service.
