Material & Heat Treatment
12Cr1MoVG alloy steel contains Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), Vanadium (V), Manganese (Mn), Silicon (Si) and Carbon (C) within the limits specified by GB/T 5310.
Chromium, molybdenum and vanadium contribute to the material's elevated-temperature mechanical properties and creep strength. Heat treatment and material selection should be confirmed against the applicable design code and project requirements.
Heat treatment is performed according to the applicable GB/T 5310 requirements, qualified manufacturing procedures and purchaser specifications. Typical processing includes normalizing, tempering and other treatments specified by the material grade and applicable standard. Actual heat-treatment conditions depend on the applicable material specification, product size, bending process and project requirements.
